Due to its elasticity, the petal brush allows for uniform grinding of not only a flat surface, but also a curved (profile) surface, without the formation of unpolished zones.
To work with the use of grinding brushes, it is necessary to use a hand grinder or a drill with speed control. The optimum speed for wood sanding is 1800-2500rpm.
An important characteristic is the granularity - the higher the number indicating the granularity, the finer the abrasive:
120 grit is used for grinding hardwoods and removing old paintwork;
Grit 180 and 240 are used for sanding MDF and soft woods.
Application: Sanding and polishing flat and curved surfaces on wood and metal. Grinding and polishing plywood, sanding MDF, removing raised pile after varnishing, removing old paintwork.
