They are used for drilling materials with high strength and toughness: stainless, carbon and alloy steels, heat-resistant steels, heat-strengthened steels, acid-resistant and corrosion-resistant steels. Cobalt drills are effectively used for drilling holes in welded joints and pipes. The addition of cobalt increases the heat resistance of the drill bit, which does not change the properties of the drill bit and allows you to make more holes in a short period of time. The drill bit can also be used for drilling holes in materials such as wood, plywood (fiberboard, chipboard, OSB), and plastic. It is manufactured in accordance with the DIN338 quality standard.
